The Estella Scott-Roberts Foundation (ESRF) presented the Family Resource Centre (FRC) with a CI$500 donation in recognition of the vital services the organisation provides to the community.
By facilitating various workshops and information sessions that focus on building healthy families, improving parenting skills, developing healthy relationships and learning about the effects of domestic violence, the work of the FRC aligns with the Foundation’s vision: ‘gender equality and a life free of violence for all’. The FRC also organises the Clothesline Project which allows survivors of violence and/or their supporters to design T-shirts as a testament to their experience. This form of art therapy was available and on display at the ESRF’s Steps to End Silence Walk.
The ESRF was therefore pleased to provide a donation to the FRC at the Steps to End Silence Walk that will aid in supporting the FRC’s important programmes and projects which build healthier individuals, families and communities.
