Dear Friends of the Estella Scott-Roberts Foundation
As we enter 2015 the ESR Foundation (which so many of you have supported over the years) is looking to further strengthen. As a result of our ongoing commitment to promote ‘Gender Equality and a Life Free of Violence for All’ we are looking to recruit two new board members, specifically a Treasurer and a Secretary. The roles and responsibilities are outlined below. Joining our organization is a great way to support the local community. All roles on the board are unpaid but the emotional reward gained from this important charity work is hard to measure. If you believe you, or someone you know, might be able to fulfill either of the below roles, please email moc.l1519552159iamg@1519552159noita1519552159dnuof1519552159rse1519552159. We very much look forward to hearing from you.
Role of Secretary
The Secretary is responsible for duties such as checking and responding to emails and taking minutes at bi-monthly board meetings. It would suit someone organised with about 20 minutes available per day to manage correspondence.
Role of Treasurer
The Treasurer is responsible for managing the basic accounting needs of the Foundation. The Treasurer will need to attend monthly board meetings and present financial updates as and when necessary. The role is less time intensive than that of Secretary.
